Transforming Revolut’s Canary Wharf HQ with AIS Interiors

AIS Interiors required a specialist partner to deliver a complex, high-specification joinery package for Revolut Bank’s new headquarters in YY London, Canary Wharf. We delivered a bespoke, comprehensive solution across four floors, successfully navigating intricate structural challenges, including mezzanine integration. The project delivered a functional, aesthetically striking workspace on time and within budget, reinforcing our reputation for precision and reliability.

The Brief

The project scope was extensive, covering four floors of the prestigious building. AIS Interiors needed a partner capable of handling a massive volume of bespoke work without compromising on quality or the agreed programme timeline.

The requirements included a diverse range of joinery elements, from a statement reception desk to functional teapoints, breakout seating areas, gym mirror walls, washroom fit-outs, and poser tables. However, the most significant challenge lay in the auditorium.

The design called for large-scale auditorium seating that had to integrate flawlessly with the existing steelwork of a mezzanine level. This wasn’t just a carpentry challenge; it was a structural and aesthetic puzzle. The joinery needed to wrap around and conceal the steel structure while simultaneously housing complex LED lighting systems. Any misalignment here would compromise the visual integrity of the “floating” mezzanine effect and disrupt the lighting design, a critical element of the auditorium’s atmosphere. Precision was paramount, and the margin for error was nonexistent.

The Solution

To address these challenges, we adopted a highly collaborative approach, working closely with the AIS Interiors design team from the outset. We believe that true craftsmanship is where vision meets velocity, and this project required both.

The Auditorium Integration

Tackling the auditorium required a blend of engineering precision and artisanal skill. We developed a bespoke framing system that allowed the seating and cladding to sit flush against the mezzanine steelwork. Our team coordinated closely with the electrical contractors to create seamless channels for the LED lighting, ensuring the technology was embedded within the joinery rather than mounted on top. This turned a potential structural eyesore into a sleek, illuminated focal point of the office.

Beyond the auditorium, we rolled out a full suite of bespoke joinery across the four floors:
