One good turn always deserves another. And after we pulled off a fantastic project for Bovis in Wombourne earlier this year, and they got in touch to ask us if we could do it all over again in Chichester.
After working with WSG to create a fantastic experiential sales & marketing space at Wombourne, Wolverhampton, Bovis wanted to ramp things up and enhance that original concept of an exciting experience prior to walking into a showhome that was balanced alongside Bovis USPs and creating the urge to hang around a Bovis showhome that little bit longer and feel educated and intrigued by an engaging and immersive sales journey.
And by adding more, diluting impact, functionality and customer experience can always be a risk. So it was important to stay focused on the end result, as well as the additions.
Head of Design Richard Habergham worked with the Bovis team to create a concept. The idea was to honour the original Brand Space design and implement a new format based on feedback from Wombourne. It was the perfect collaborative project: Ideas were shared, visuals were presented, and designs were reviewed and refined by the client and by WSG.
And when we got to site, Team WSG gave the environment a quick inspection along with the drawings to ensure what was down on paper was accurate against the space. There are usually a few small details to quickly iron out at this point in the process. Plug socket positions, switches etc. But small details are vital details, and it was imperetive to spend those few minutes onsite to double-check things.
And the WSG furniture had to work in tandem with the digital content from Futurium too. So, this one was a true end-to-end partnership with Bovis. From the pre-contract design phase, through to manufacture, over to despatch and into installation.
We loved the results of this one, and so did our client. We’d created a space with a considered and harmonised blend of material. Traditional white and dark grey MFC was partnered with feature Bovis blue.
And by combining this look, it made a contemporary and inviting space for visitors to Bovis. It was complemented by contextual lifestyle graphics to firmly showcase Bovis, and the opulent soft furnishing gave the environment a warm homely feel.
People felt welcome, informed, and they felt at home. What more could you want from a stunning piece of Brand Space for Bovis?
